I recently had the pleasure of being on the Physical Activity Researcher Podcast, the source of latest research findings in all things related to physical activity, exercise and health, with host Olli Tikkanen.
Science literacy is essential, especially in today’s age of misinformation, yet we often teach science as a collection of facts for students to memorize. In this episode we discuss a variety of ways to improve science education, such as focusing on science as a way of knowing and teaching students how to recognize good science by incorporating bad science and pseudoscience in the classroom.
